Carol Duchscher is the Art of Living Director for Victoria Park. Carol is the ultimate social and cultural “diva” for Victoria Park’s residents, helping people connect with one another and the community. She plugs residents into community events and brings together people with similar interests.
Carol’s panache and flair adds that special touch to Victoria Park. She coordinates neighborhood activities, offers community resources and facilitates the TownTalk community network, a real-time interactive intranet that serves as a central point of community information. She brings boundless energy, enthusiasm and great ideas to her role.
Sociologists refer to this type of connection as “social capital.” Research shows that abundant social capital within a community provides enormous benefits, happier and healthier individuals and stronger communities that are safer and more productive. As one of the nation’s leading designers of carefully crafted hometowns, JOE is committed to creating communities rich with social capital.
Carol has a wealth of experience through her eight years as project coordinator, working in the conceptual stages of Victoria Park. An avid marathon runner who also likes to golf, Carol’s energy and drive come through in the many projects she coordinates. Be warned! Her enthusiasm is contagious, as she blends together the roles of friendly neighbor, community ambassador and social advisor.
