Since joining The St. Joe Company in November 1999, Shane Fuller assists with a wide variety of land management and wildlife-related projects. His responsibilities include helping plan, coordinate and implement various land management and wildlife-related projects.
Fuller was previously employed by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission as the Statewide Small Game Coordinator and the Assistant Wild Turkey Section Biologist. He is a certified wildlife biologist and a member of the Wildlife Society, as well as several other organizations such as the National Wild Turkey Federation, Ducks Unlimited, Quality Deer Management Association and Quail Unlimited.
Born and raised in a small rural farming community in mid Missouri, Fuller’s interest in nature and conservation naturally stemmed from his rural background. Although his main interest is rooted in game management, he is also very interested in finding practical solutions that strike a balance between development and ecosystem management.
Fuller received his Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Fisheries and Wildlife from the University of Missouri in 1991 and a Master’s degree in Wildlife Ecology from Mississippi State University in 1994. |
